Measure your scoop - how many ounces?

• Pregnant cats - can eat up to 2 times their normal daily intake of food
• Lactating cats - may need as much as 3 times more food than usual along with increased consumption of water
• Kittens - gradually transition from mother’s milk to cat food around 4 to 8 weeks of age
• A kitten may double or triple its body weight during the first couple of months, using much more energy than compared to an older cat.
• Unless food is readily available all day, kittens should be fed at least 3 to 4 times daily to satisfy their energy demands.
